Privacy policy

Nakama is operated by Nakama Pte. Ltd., a Singapore Private Limited Company. We run the anime prediction market platform at mynakama.xyz. Questions about this policy: privacy@mynakama.xyz

Account data: Your email address, used only for magic-link authentication. We do not store passwords.

Usage data: Predictions you make, markets you create, your Ryo balance, prediction history, and reputation score. This is the core of the product and is publicly visible by design.

Technical data: IP address, browser type, and device type for security and abuse prevention. Not sold or shared with advertisers.

Payment data: If you purchase Ryo packs, payment is processed by Stripe. We do not store card numbers. We receive transaction confirmation and amount only.

We do not collect your real name, phone number, date of birth, location beyond IP-level, or any social media profiles unless you choose to link them. We do not use tracking pixels or third-party ad networks.

Your username, tier, prediction score, prediction history, takes, and active positions are publicly visible to all users by design. This is the core product — your predictions are your record. Your Ryo balance, purchase history, and email address are always private.

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your personal data (email, IP logs) is deleted within 30 days. Your public predictions may be anonymised and retained for platform integrity and aggregate statistics.

We use one cookie, for session management (keeping you logged in). We set no advertising, tracking or analytics cookies, so there is nothing to consent to beyond the one that makes sign-in work.

If you are in the EU or Singapore, you have the right to: access the data we hold on you, correct inaccurate data, request deletion of your account and personal data, and object to processing. Submit requests to privacy@mynakama.xyz. We respond within 30 days.

We use: Supabase (database and authentication, hosted on AWS), Vercel (hosting, and cookieless page-view analytics that do not identify you), and Resend (sign-in and notification emails). Each processes data under its own terms and privacy policy. We do not take payments.

Nakama is for users aged 13 and older. Ryo purchases require users to be 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us immediately.

We will notify registered users by email before making material changes to this policy. Continued use of Nakama after changes constitutes acceptance.
